Sharing Life & Learning to Surrender to Jesus Christ

Children’s Ministry

Our goal in the children’s ministry is to have a healthy and safe place for your child to learn about and love Jesus. We try to support parents and caregivers when needed in the task of being the best that they can be for each child. All of our dedicated volunteers are background checked and work in teams of two.

For our littlest guests, our nursery is all set up and ready for you. We have loving and caring people ready to meet the needs of your child ages 0-4. Please fill out the information sheet provided in the nursery so we can contact you during the service if your child needs you.

Sunday school for Pre-School through fifth grade is a fun time of reading through the Children’s Bible, having games, crafts, and snacks related to each lesson. Usually, kids will be with you in the sanctuary for the first few songs of worship, before being dismissed to Sunday school. You can find a signup sheet for parent contact information, allergies or special needs at the main kiosk. Or feel free to come down with your child and see what we are working on.

Throughout the year families are encouraged to join us in potlucks, picnics and special celebrations depending on the season. In October and November, our focus is on Operation Christmas Child (Shoeboxes) through Samaritan’s Purse Ministry. We learn about discipleship and the importance of giving and sharing God’s love with others. Each Christmas we have a special performance put on
by Sunday school and the Children’s Choir. Each year is special and unique just like our kids. Children’s Choir is for kids who love to sing or play a musical instrument. We have seasonal practice throughout the year on Sunday’s with performances based on the current season. Please check in with a Sunday school teacher for the most current schedule a week beforehand.
