For the last two years, we have been talking about discipleship, and what it means for each of us to be disciples of Jesus. Much of our sermons over the last two years have focused on these themes, as we think about and begin to do the things that Jesus did for the reasons that Jesus did them. We have also been working through a program on discipleship developed by our denomination called Flourishing Disciples and a small group of about 20 people made up of elders and key lay leaders have been working through this material. We would like to expand on this in the coming year and want to invite all to attend a Discipleship Seminar on February 22 from 9:30 to 1:30 in the Fireside Room.

Many in our congregation are beginning to use the language of discipleship, but we want to begin to encourage them towards the doing and the being of discipleship. If you would like to learn more, please sign up on Sundays at church and join us for this time.
